Call for External Freelance Evaluators (f/m/d)

About the Role  

We are expanding our team by building a pool of external evaluators to enhance our review process for various calls for proposals. As an evaluator, you will play a crucial role in assessing applications for sports for social development grants. Your expertise will directly impact the selection of projects that drive positive social change through sports globally.

Your Responsibilities 

• Evaluate Proposals: Conduct thorough and impartial evaluations of grant applications, ensuring alignment with grant criteria and objectives 

• Assess Impact: Analyze the potential social impact of proposed projects, focusing on how they leverage sports to address social and environmental issues 

• Detailed Review: Provide detailed and constructive feedback on each proposal, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement 

• Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other evaluators and our internal team to ensure a fair and comprehensive review process 

• Report Findings: Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports, summarizing findings and recommendations for funding decisions
  

Your Profile

• In-depth knowledge and experience evaluating programs and initiatives that use sports as a tool for social change 

• Very high attention to detail to ensure thorough and accurate evaluations 

• Ability to critically analyse proposals and assess their potential impact and feasibility 

• Strong communication skills, high ethical standards, and experience interacting with a diverse group of individuals 

• Effective teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively with other evaluators and internal staff 

• Fluency (at least C2 level) in one of the following languages: English, Spanish, German, French, or Portuguese 

• Registered as a freelancer in your country of residence with the ability to provide invoices for services rendered
