Uniting the World of Football for Good

Berlin Forum 2024

The Football for Good community will gather in Berlin during the final week of UEFA EURO 2024 to advance the collective effort to maximise football’s contribution to a more equitable and sustainable future for all.

Organised by Common Goal, in collaboration with the Berlin Network for Football and society, and with the support of trusted partners, The Berlin Forum 2024 will take place from July 8-10.

More than 150 representatives from Football for Good organisations and partners from over 50 countries will come together in a unique opportunity to strengthen the efforts towards making a positive impact on society through football.

Workshops will be held across two days with participants engaging in learning and discussions on topics such as gender equity, racial justice and environmental sustainability. As well as key drivers for impact like safeguarding, and monitoring, evaluation and learning.

The Forum will enable an exchange of experiences and the development of innovative, collaborative solutions that will continue long after the final session.

Collectively, participants will develop recommendations and solutions for key challenges from the world of Football for Good with the aim of driving impact.

These will be shared at the Football for Sustainability Summit being held on July 11th to continue to strengthen the global action plan.

“We are delighted to unite the world of Football for Good in Berlin during the UEFA EURO 2024,” said George Springborg, Head of Community at Common Goal.

“These moments of connection and inspiration are crucial in the further development of the sector and ensuring that collectively, we are equipped to take on the world’s biggest challenges – through football.

“We can’t wait to welcome everyone to Berlin!”
