Say hello to the new Common Goal

Common Goal launches new brand

Common Goal has a legacy of 30 years of using the joy of football as a force for good. While Common Goal has existed for seven years, the work goes far beyond that. For most of our history, we operated under the name streetfootballworld – building a network of organisations dismantling inequality and building better futures for their communities.

Common Goal was launched as a project to harness the cultural and financial influence football, and connect it to these organisations. In 2022, Common Goal and streetfootballworld merged and, since then, we have worked to consolidate our mission and strategy into a single cohesive vision that maximises our impact.

Today, we are proud to unveil our new brand that reflects this unified approach and brings together the rich history of our journey into a single identity.

At the core of Common Goal’s refreshed brand is its belief that the joy of football will change the world:

Our vision is simple yet powerful: To create an even playing field for all and with our new mission we believe there is a clarity of purpose that sets a roadmap for change for the years to come:

A Unified Future for Football

We hope that Common Goal’s rebrand can be a rallying cry for the entire football community, from elite players to grassroots organisations and corporate partners.

The launch of the new brand marks a fresh chapter in Common Goal’s journey, and we are inviting everyone who believes in the transformative power of football to join the global effort to create a better future for people and planet.

Jürgen Griesbeck, Common Goal Co-Founder and CEO:

“Today, Common Goal is stepping into a new chapter, unveiling a refreshed identity that reflects both where we’ve been and where we are going. Our vision is bold yet simple: An even playing field for all. It’s rooted in the belief that the joy of football can - and will - change the world. To everyone who believes in the transformative power of football, let’s continue to work together and prove that football can, and we will.”

We believe that the joy of football will change the world, and through collective efforts, we have seen that real, lasting social change is possible.
